Williamstown: League of Women Voters sponsors candidate forums


The League of Women Voters is sponsoring forums for the candidates in contested races for town offices.

All forums will be held the Selectmen's Room at the Town Hall. The public is invited to attend and participate.

Candidates running for a two-year term on the Planning Board will speak at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13.

On Tuesday, April 26, candidates running for a five-year term on the Planning Board will appear at 6 p.m., followed by candidates running for two open seats on the Williamstown School Committee at 7:30 p.m.

The forum for candidates running for two seats on the Board of Selectmen is slated for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27.

Candidates will make opening and closing statements, and audience members may ask questions. The forums will be taped by WilliNet.
