Williamstown: Milne Library offers Ancestry.com

Wednesday January 2, 2013

Thanks to a gift from the Friends of the Library, the Milne Public Library now has Ancestry.com on its library computers.

Ancestry.com is the world’s largest online family history resource. In addition to its flagship site, Ancestry.com offers several localized Web sites designed to empower people to discover, preserve and share their family history.

Ancestry.com can be accessed at the library in the lab, Kid’s Room and Williamstown Historical Museum.

In addition, Abraham Lincoln’s records are available from now through February on Ancestry.com.

The library also offers Atomic Computer Classes on Skype, the iPad, Gmail, and many more computer programs and devices from its Digital Café located on www.milnelibrary.org.
