Williamstown: Minerva Arts offers summer workshops

Minerva Arts Center is conducting summer workshops with guest singers Mary Laidlaw and Michael Tuffy. All workshops are held at First Congregational Church.

Little to Big presents "The Lion King" July 29 to Aug. 16 from noon to 5 p.m. Students of all ages act, create, and produce a performance that is shared with the community. Workshop classes include auditioning, casting, blocking, choreography, and make-up design.

A Geocaching Adventure Workshop led by Nate Samson meets Aug. 12 to 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Geocaching is a world-wide treasure hunt that utilizes a handheld GPS unit, a good set of eyes and a bit of hiking around.

The Gleekers with Nicole Rizzo meets Aug. 19 to 23 from noon to 5 p.m. Students of all ages celebrate the world of music and choreography.
