Williamstown: Naturalist, artist to be guest at WRLF annual meeting

The public is invited to the annual meeting of members of the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Sheep Hill.

A short business meeting will precede this year’s program with naturalist, artist, educator and author Clare Walker Leslie. Rather than speaking, Leslie will lead attendees out to observe and record their observations.

Leslie is the author of 11 books focused on the observation and portrayal of the natural world. Her latest book is "The Nature Connection: An Outdoor Workbook for Kids, Families, and Classrooms."

The WRLF is a non-profit member-supported land conservation trust. Information: www.wrlf.org or www.clarewalkerleslie.com.
