Williamstown: Naturalists leading butterfly walk

Posted
Naturalists Pamela Weatherbee and Leslie Reed-Evans will lead a butterfly walk at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Spruces.

Participants will learn how to identify the variety of butterflies found in the area. The Spruces has a great variety of wildflowers to attract butterflies, which are most active during warm weather. Sun protection is advised.

The program is free of charge and suitable for all ages. Rain date is 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20.

The Spruces is located on the north side Route 2 east of Williamstown. The entrance is marked by two white stone lions. Meet in the parking area to the right of the first intersection.
