Williamstown: Occupational therapist to speak to Parkinson’s group

The Northern Berkshire Parkinson’s Support Group will hold its next meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, at Williamstown Savings Bank, 795 Main St., in the lower level board room.

Joey Collins, an occupational therapist with North Adams Regional Hospital, will be the guest speaker.

Collins will discuss how individuals with Parkinson’s Disease can manage daily tasks such as self-care, feeding and household activities with less effort and use of adaptive equipment and techniques. She will also share information on fall prevention.
