Friday November 23, 2012

Minerva Arts Center will hold open auditions for the third annual Holiday Showcase in the Youth Chapel at First Congregational Church, 906 Main St.

Auditions are first come, first serve on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Openings are available for musicians, poets, actors, dancers, jugglers, or any other type of performing artists, especially if the act highlights any number of world religions and the upcoming holiday season.

A creative team will determine technical needs and lighting concepts and program credit during the audition. A boom box and piano is on site, and an accompanist will be available.

The tech rehearsal will be Monday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m. Performances are Tuesday, Dec. 18, and Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m., in Fellowship Hall at First Congregational Church.
