Williamstown: Outdoor movies offered Sundays in July


Images Cinema will present "Family Flicks Under the Stars" on Sundays in July. The free films will be screened outside at sundown, approximately 8:15 p.m., on Morgan Lawn at the top of Spring Street.

Concessions will be available on site. Bring chairs, blankets, bug spray, etc.

Movies include "A Hard Day’s Night" on July 6; "Casablanca" on July 13; "Mary Poppins" on July 20; "Jurassic Park" on July 27.

The rain location is Images Cinema, 50 Spring St., at 8 p.m.

Summer Sundays street fairs will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Family Flicks days with arts activities, kids activities, street performers, and live music. Local restaurants will be offering to go dinner specials.

Tasha Yoga will offer free yoga classes from 7 to 8 p.m. on Morgan Lawn. In case of rain, classes will be canceled.

On Sunday, July 6, OK Chorale will perform favorites from The Beatles from 8 to 8:30 p.m. at the Family Flicks site, either on Morgan Lawn or at Images Cinema. "A Hard Day’s Night" will be introduced by Stacy Cochran, director of "Richard Lester!," a documentary about the director of "A Hard Day’s Night."
