Williamstown: Presidential historian to give lecture
Michael Beschloss ‘77, inaugural James MacGregor Burns Distinguished Speaker, is the first speaker in a series of lectures in the ‘71 Public Affairs Forum on Elections 2012 at Williams College.
He will speak on "Presidential Leadership Past and Future" at 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, on the MainStage of the ‘62 Center for Theatre and Dance.
Named "the nation’s leading presidential historian" by Newsweek, Beschloss has written nine books on American presidents.
This event is co-sponsored by the Program in Leadership Studies, the Lecture Committee, and the Class of ‘71 Public Affairs Forum at Williams College.
The lecture is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets are available online at http://62center.williams.edu/62center or by contacting the box office at (413) 597-2425, Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m.
