Williamstown: Psychologist to explore parables of Jesus

First Congregational Church has announced the latest series in its Second Hour @ the Meetinghouse program. The programs are held at 11:15 a.m. on Sundays in the church’s Fellowship Hall on Main Street.

Richard Q. Ford, a clinical psychologist practicing in Williamstown and a Biblical scholar, will lead three discussions surrounding "The Parables of Jesus in Contemporary Settings."

The program includes "Jesus’ Parable of the Wicked Tenants and America’s Invasion of Iraq" on March 17; "Jesus’ Parable of the Unjust Judge and the Crisis of Climate Change" on March 24; and "Jesus’ Parable of the Dishonest Steward and the War in Afghanistan" on April 7.
