Williamstown: Quiz Bowl, telethon to aid Mount Greylock SEE Fund

The Mount Greylock Regional School District's SEE Fund will host a student/faculty Quiz Bowl and telethon at the school on Thursday, March 10. The competition will be broadcast live from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on WilliNet channel 16, and soon to be rebroadcast on LCATV2 in Lanesborough.

This event is meant to highlight students and student learning, and to serve as a fundraiser for educational initiatives at the school.

Blair Dils, a faculty member and coach of Mount Greylock's "As Schools Match Wits" team, will emcee the Quiz Bowl.

The telethon will take place simultaneously with a goal of raising $5,000.

All members of the Mount Greylock School community are eligible to apply for SEE (Sustaining Educational Excellence) Fund grants. Application and eligibility guidelines are available at berkshiretaconic.org. The deadline is April 15.
