Williamstown: Spring Fling to benefit preschool

The Williamstown Community Preschool will host its second annual Spring Fling fundraiser from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, in the converted sanctuary, which is now used as a gymnasium for the children during the school day. The preschool is located at 777 Main St.

The theme is "Under The Sea" and Karl Mullen will DJ. Light appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

The fundraiser will feature a silent auction and the preschool’s signature "Wishing Wall," on which teachers post the items they most desire for their classroom and donations can be made directly for those items. This year the teachers have made just one request: to refinish the floor in the gymnasium.

All funds raised during the event will go towards refinishing the gym floors and to the endowment, which provides scholarships to students in need and provides a source of funding for building maintenance projects.

The entrance fee is $45 at the door.
