Williamstown: St. John’s to host concert of medieval music

The Woodbinde Medieval Band will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at St. John’s Church on Park Street in a program titled "Circa 1215: English Music from the Period of the Magna Carta."

The performance takes its cue from the upcoming visit of the Magna Carta to Williamstown.

One of only four extant copies of the Magna Carta will be on display at the Clark Art Institute from Sept. 6 through Nov. 2, before returning to Lincoln Cathedral in England.

The performance is free and open to the public. Admission is free. Donations at the door will benefit Higher Ground.
