Williamstown: Trees available for annual showcase

Northern Berkshire Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual Christmas Tree Showcase from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at First Congregational Church on Main Street as part of the annual Williamstown Holiday Walk.

Members of the community, schools, churches, local businesses and community organizations are invited to purchase miniature artificial trees for $7 each to decorate and contribute to the showcase and raffle, or for personal use.

Last year more than 135 trees were raffled off.

Trees may be purchased at St. John's Church (church school entrance), 35 Park St.; First Congregational Church, 906 Main St.; Harsch Associate, 311 Main St.; Alton and Westall, 77 Water St.; and Goodman's Jewelers, 32 Spring St.

In North Adams, trees may be purchased at DiLego Jewelry Store, 16 Ashland St.; First Baptist Church, 131 Main St.; Mount Williams Greenhouses, 1090 State Road; and from 9 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday at the Habitat Office, 61 Main St., Suite 246.
