The Trustees of Reservations are hosting a pair of winter outdoor programs at their Williamstown conservation properties.

A guided snowshoe trek at the Mountain Meadow Preserve will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19. The approximately two-hour outing is free and open to the public. Meet at the Benedict Road entrance in Pownal, Vt., which is off White Oaks Road in Williamstown.

Call (413) 532-1631, ext. 10, the day before to confirm if the weather is bad or there is no snow.

Naturalists Pam Weatherbee and Leslie Reed-Evans will explore the winter habitats of Field Farm from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3. The trek will be followed by marshmallows toasted on a campfire.

Dress for the weather and bring snowshoes if needed. Meet at the Guest House parking area. The inclement weather date is Sunday, Feb. 10. The program is free but donations are accepted.

For information or to register for either program, contact The Trustees at pvregion@ttor.org or (413) 532-1631, ext. 20.
