Williamstown: Voter registration deadline set for primary, debt exclusion

The deadline for voter registration or change of party affiliation for the presidential primary and the Mount Greylock Regional High School building project debt exclusion is Wednesday, Feb. 10.

The town clerk's office will remain open until 8 p.m. on that day. Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked no later than Feb. 10.

The presidential primary and debt exclusion vote will both be held Tuesday, March 1. Both elections will be held on the same day, but they will be on separate ballots and voters will need to check in and out separately for each ballot.

Voting will take place in the Williamstown Elementary School gymnasium.

Absentee ballots are now available for the primary and will be available the first week of February for the debt exclusion.

Residents with questions regarding the status of their voter registration or the absentee ballot process are urged to call the town clerk's office at 413-458-9341.
