Williamstown: Williams announces planetarium shows


The Williams College Department of Astronomy will host free shows for the public at the Milham Planetarium at 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 28 through Aug. 4.

The planetarium is located inside the Old Hopkins Observatory, 829 Main St.

Audiences will be treated to shows from the high-precision Zeiss Skymaster ZKP3/B opto-mechanical planetarium projector. Shows will last approximately 50 minutes.

Reservations are recommended by contacting Michele Rech at 413-597-2188 or mcr4@williams.edu. Others will be admitted as space permits. Large groups should call for special appointments.
