Williamstown: Williams students to report on winter study in Mexico


Williams College students who visited Chiapas, Mexico, and the Guatemala border will discuss their experience in a presentation titled "Borderlands" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in Griffin Hall, room 4. It is free and open to the public.

Students in the Winter Study course "Borderlands, Migration, and Indigenous Cultures in Chiapas, Mexico" worked with BorderLinks to explore current immigration issues and learn about the work of communities and groups advocating for justice in one of the poorest states in Mexico.
