Williamstown: WRLF announces summer nature programs


The Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation is offering week-long, half-day summer outdoor nature programs for children at its Sheep Hill headquarters on Cold Spring Road, Route 7.

Parent and Preschooler Nature Exploration runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, June 30 to July 3.

Week-long science and nature programs begin Monday, July 7, with Habitat Exploration for 5 to 7-year-olds from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Discover and Create for 6-8 year olds begins Monday, July 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.

A three-day, all-day Building for Nature workshop for 8 to 11-year-olds begins Aug. 4.

Beginning in July, drop-in nature programs will be offered for children and adults on Saturday mornings.
