The Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation announces a guided natural history hike to some of the lesser known areas of its Pine Cobble conservation property beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Hikers should meet at the Chestnut Trail trailhead on Chestnut Street, off North Hoosac Road.

The hike will be led by biologist and land historian Hank Art and geoscientist David Dethier.

Pine Cobble has a unique geology and botany, and the hike will feature a visit to an area of rock ledges, as well as Bear Spring.

The hike is moderately strenuous and will last approximately three hours.
