Windsor: Annual pie sale, harvest festival set for Sept. 30
The Windsor Historical Commission will hold its annual Pie Sale and Harvest Festival on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Windsor Museum on Route 9, next to the church.
In addition to fresh homemade pies for sale, this year’s event will include handmade crafts for sale by the Windsor Mountain Crafters and the Windsor Church Mice, a tag sale to benefit the church, and a book sale sponsored by the Windsor Library.
Live music will be provided by Yankee Notions from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the public is invited to participate in "Favorite Poems Read Aloud" from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. in the Museum. There will be a table of representatives from Windsor organizations and businesses sharing information on Windsor’s resources.
The proceeds from the pie sale support the ongoing operation of the Windsor Historical Museum. The museum exhibits will be open to the public.
All events are free and open to the public. The event will be held, rain or shine. Information: (413) 684-4535.
