Windsor: Democratic Committee announces caucus

The Windsor Democratic Committee will hold its caucus at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Town Hall. A vote will be held to elect one delegate and one alternate delegate to the 2018 Massachusetts Democratic state convention.

The convention will be held on June 1-2 at the DCU Center in Worcester.

The caucus is open to the public however only Democrats registered and preregistered in Windsor will be allowed to vote on the delegates. Preregistered Democrats who will be 18 by Sept. 18 will be allowed to participate and run as a delegate or alternate.

Youth, minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ individuals who are not elected as a delegate or alternate may apply to be an add-on delegate at the caucus or at www.massdems.org.

A chairman of the local committee will also be elected at the caucus. For more information, contact Charles Sturtevant at 413-684-3268.
