Windsor: Heritage hikes planned Oct. 13-14

Naturalist Aimee Gelinas will lead two Housatonic Heritage hikes in Windsor.

The first, a Highland Boreal Forest Ghost Town Hike at Tamarack Hollow and Notchview Reservation, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. The hike is sponsored by the Berkshire Eastern Mountain Sports.

A Highland Meadow Homestead Hike at the Eugene Moran Wildlife Management Area will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Oct. 14. This hike is sponsored by the Windsor Cultural Council and the Berkshire EMS.
