Windsor: Town celebrates pipeline pullout


Celebrate Windsor, a town party celebrating Kinder Morgan pulling the plug on the pipeline and compressor station, is slated Sunday, April 24.

The celebration kicks off with a car parade; meet in decorated cars at 2 p.m. in the Notchview Reservation parking lot.

The parade will be followed by a non-denominational Thanksgiving service led by the Rev. Alex Hunter at Windsor Congregational Church.

A potluck dinner at the Town Hall will immediately follow the service; bring a main dish and BYOB. A dance with DJ MusiChris will begin at 4 p.m.
