Windsor town election is May 13
WINDSOR -- The annual town election ballot includes a contested race for one three-year term on the Board of Selectmen.
Town Clerk Evelyn Bird said the election will be held Monday, May 13, from noon to 8 p.m. at Town Hall, 1927 Route 9.
Incumbent Selectman Brian E. Koczela, of East Windsor Road, faces a challenge from Jennifer A. Bailey, of High Street, Kip Andrew Buoymaster, of Route 9, and Kolleen E. Schmitt, of Windigo Road.
Buoymaster also is running for re-election as town constable. He is unopposed for a three-year term.
Another race is for a three-year Finance Committee seat, with incumbent George J. Bigelow, of Cheshire Road, facing challengers Barbara E. Guisti, of Shaw Road, and Peter Pyskaty, of East Windsor Road.
Unopposed candidates include Moderator James Kierstead, of Windsor Bush Road, for a one-year term; Cemetery Commission member Marcia Musiak, of River Road, for a three-year term; and library Trustee Beth A. Webb, of Plainfield Bush Road, for a three-year term.
No candidates are listed for a Cemetery Commission seat for two years or a Planning Board post for five years.
