Tamarack Hollow Nature & Cultural Center and Mass Audubon will present a late winter ecology snowshoe trek from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at Windsor Jambs State Forest.

Experience this deep, evergreen forest, learn about high elevation trees and plants in winter and view a deeply cut icy rock gorge called "the Jambs." This trek is three miles round-trip and is rated moderate with a few steep declines/inclines.

Discounted snowshoe rentals are available from Berkshire Eastern Mountain Sports at Berkshire Mall in Lanesborough.

Call (413) 445-4967 to reserve/rent snowshoes. Bring water and lunch. Call (413) 584-3009 or visit www.massaudubon.org to register/pay.
