Woman's body found in East Boston garage

BOSTON >> Police are investigating what they are calling the suspicious death of a woman found by construction workers in an East Boston garage.

The woman was found on Wednesday morning in a garage on Princeton Street.

Her name has not been released but police say she appeared to be in her 20s.

There was evidence of trauma on her body although police did not provide details. It's unclear how long the body had been in the garage full of construction materials, but the death was defined as "recent."

The garage was on the property of a building that neighbors said has been vacant for some times.

Investigators are asking neighborhood residents to call them if they saw anything suspicious.
