Women must be heard on Nov. 6
I am grateful to Michelle Gillett for reminding us eloquently and forcefully of the importance of the women’s vote, recalling the courage and determination it took to obtain it nearly 100 years ago. ("Once again women are under attack," Eagle op-ed, October 30). Let us listen and not lose this privilege.
More than ever our voices need to be heard on Nov. 6 if we are to have control over our own lives and secure women’s integrity, dignity and independence in society.
