Women who lived with the whale

PITTSFIELD -- "Mel ville's Women," the second play in The Melville Trilogy, will run at Melville's Arrow head, at 780 Holmes Road, tonight through Sat urday at 7:30 p.m. as part of Pitts field's Call Me Melville celebration.

The play, based on the life and works of Herman Mel ville, takes place in the fall of 1851, when Melville had just completed "Moby-Dick."

"Melville's Women" takes place on the grounds and in the museum rooms at Ar rowhead where Melville lived and wrote.

Tickets are $25 and include refreshments before the show and a discussion afterward with the cast.
