Worcester man pleads not guilty in woman's stabbing death
WORCESTER >> A man charged with fatally stabbing a 31-year-old woman in Worcester last year has pleaded not guilty.
The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/1WNvo0y ) reports that 18-year-old Kevin Miranda entered the plea to a murder charge at his arraignment Thursday.
Miranda and 26-year-old Pedro Solis were indicted this week in the Dec. 2 death of Cherise Hill. Solis remains at large.
Authorities say Hill was stabbed 19 times. Her body was found on the side of the road. Surveillance video captured the attack by two masked assailants near a liquor store.
Miranda was ordered held without bail, but his attorney retained the right to seek bail in the future. His case was continued to May 18.
