LEE -- Western Massachusetts Electric Company reports about 430 of its customers in Lee and Lenox Dale were without electricity on Tuesday afternoon.

WMECO officials report the power outage occurred around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday when a tree fell on the utility's electrical lines near the intersection of East and Bradley streets.

WMECO anticipates power could be restored by 8 p.m.
