A two-story inflatable slide and an amped-up line-up of live local bands highlight this year’s Kids’ Park at the 33rd annual Apple Squeeze on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Kids’ Park, now a four-year tradition at the Squeeze, will offer families a full slate of activities, all to take place in Lilac Park on Main Street.
Children can test their skill in one of many carnival games, take rides down the giant "Big Kahuna" slide, jump in bouncy houses, join in a Sol LeWitt-inspired community art project, get their faces painted, and more.
Live musical acts from singer-songwriters to a soul-funk-reggae-blues blend will fill the air, and a variety of sweet treats will be available at the bake sale.
Tickets for all activities are available at the event and start at just 50 cents. A full-day pass is also available for $25.
While the Apple Squeeze takes place on both Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22-23, the Kids’ Park is only in action for Saturday, Sept. 22.
The Kids’ Park is organized by the Morris Elementary School PTO. All proceeds support activities for students at the school.
