Pittsfield Public Schools announce a half day of school for students on Friday, Oct. 5, in order to hold teachers’ professional development workshops in the afternoon.

Schools will be closed in observance of Columbus Day on Monday, Oct. 8, reopening Tuesday, Oct. 9.
