Bousquet Ski Mountain kicks off its 80th year of skiing in the Berkshires with the 25th Annual Ski Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7.

The ski sale features new ski and snowboard equipment and accessories provided by "Ski In" ski shop of Agawam with bargains up to 70 percent off. This is also the final chance to purchase an 80th anniversary winter season pass at the discounted $300 rate, a $50 savings.

In addition, the Bousquet Ski Club Consignment Sale features big deals on gently used gear. Equipment less than four years old can be checked in from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 4 and 5. This is the largest fundraiser for the non-profit ski club.

Ski School and Race Team applications will be available during the sale. Employment forms for ski and snowboard instructors, rental department technicians and lift operators will be on hand. Group and event planners can lock in their dates for the upcoming season.

Wally the mule and his herd of sheep and goats will be on view through the sale before they head to local farms for the winter.
