National 4-H Week will be celebrated Oct. 7 to 13. 4-H began 110 years ago and is now the country’s largest youth development organization.
Club leaders are needed to start 4-H clubs in Berkshire County. No experience is necessary. Club leaders are screened and trained and provided with a mentor.
4-H projects range from animals, gardening and sewing to robotics, woodworking, photography and exploring the outdoors.
4-H is open to youth ages 5-18.
To start a 4-H Club in Berkshire County, contact 4-H Extension Educator Angelica Paredes at (413) 448-8285 or via email at angelica@umext.umass.edu.
