Richmond: 2013 dog license deadline set for April 1

The 2013 dog licenses are available at Town Hall. Massachusetts General Law requires the annual licensing of all dogs over the age of six months.

The renewal of an existing license for a dog with a valid rabies certificate can be done by mail or in person at Town Hall. The licensing of currently unlicensed dogs or those that require an updated rabies certificate must be done in person at Town Hall.

The license fee for a spayed/neutered dog is $4 with the fee for unspayed/unneutered dogs being $8. A late fee of $5 will be applied to any dog licensed after April 1.
