The Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum announce their huge spring book sale to be held at the Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Ave.
On Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the public is invited to choose from thousands of books and paperbacks. Audio books, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, records, graphic novels, pamphlets and textbooks will also be available.
On Thursday, March 7, members of the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum can shop from 5 to 8 p.m. Memberships can be obtained at the door. Individual memberships are $10 per year.
Sale prices begin at 25 cents. Collectors will find first editions and vintage books at a fraction of the price they are listed at online.
The funds raised will assist the Friends as they continue their 75 years of service to the library. Book sale funds provide free, quality programs for children and adults.
