The 298th birthday of Col. Ephraim Williams will be celebrated in a public ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at The Williams Inn.

The Silver Grey Militia Company of Northern Berkshire will lead the march and musket salute at Field Park.

Jeff Willette of North Adams will play the fife and Robert Mossman of Cheshire will maintain the drumbeat.

Following the salute, the public is invited to The Williams Inn for the traditional birthday cake cutting by Col. Ephraim Williams, accompanied by fife and drum.

All are welcome to observe the occasion and share the cake and spirit of the day.
