State Rep. William "Smitty" Pignatelli, D-Lenox, will be hosting a roundtable discussion at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at the Town Hall, 6 Walker St.

This discussion will address public safety issues and Pignatelli will be joined by Secretary of Public Safety and Security Andrea Cabral. Cabral was named as the new secretary of Public Safety last December after her 10 year tenure as sheriff of Suffolk County.

This will be Cabral’s first official visit to the Berkshires. She will meet with members of the Berkshire legislative delegation as well as local public safety officials to discuss important issues to the region.
