Community Health Programs’ CHP on Wheels offers health screenings in three towns during the month of March to bring basic health screenings and flu shots to those who can’t easily travel to a CHP health center in Great Barrington, Lee or Pittsfield.
n Thursday, March 14 -- Sherwood Shoppe, 437 Wells Road, Becket, 10 a.m. to noon.
n Friday, March 15 -- Otis Town Hall, Brown Bag Pick Up, 1 North Main Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
n Thursday, March 21 -- People’s Pantry at Calvary Christian Chapel, 195 North Plain Road, Great Barrington, 10 a.m. to noon.
At each site, CHP will offer free flu shots, and free screenings of cholesterol and blood pressure.
Other professionals will be available to offer help with SNAP enrollment (formerly Food Stamps), access to health insurance, and the WIC program.
