Pittsfield: Artist to lead flowerpot workshop

Alchemy Initiative will present a hands-on collaged and flowerpot making workshop with artist Diane Firtell from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, in the studios at NUarts, 311 North St.

In this three hour workshop, Firtell will share her technique of painting and collaging terra cotta flowerpots.

Workshop attendees will leave with their own 6-inch collaged and painted flowerpot. These pots sell in Firtell’s studio for $65.
