The spring 2013 "Green Living" seminars at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts will continue at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, in Murdock 218 with a lecture, "Shared Streets."

This lecture will be presented by Norman Garrick, professor of civil engineering at the University of Connecticut.

Departing from the traditional philosophy of design of how transportation systems are designed, Garrick will discuss the idea of how "shared streets" can safely incorporate navigation by pedestrians, bikes and cars in the same space.

The free "Place-Based Prosperity" series will continue on Thursdays through April 25. The public is invited to attend.
