In addition to all its exhibits, Berkshire Museum at 39 South St. in Pittsfield is hosting a number of after-hours events this week, from live visual presentations to film.

Tonight from 5:30 to 8, check out the Berkshire Art Association 10x10 RAP: Real Art Party, as part of the city’s 10x10 Upstreet Arts Festival. Party admission is free and includes snacks and a cash bar. Patrons can purchase an Art Tix for $25 and go home with a piece of locally crafted original art work as ticket numbers are drawn in raffle-style.

Afterward, around 8:10, check out another free event, PechaKucha Pittsfield Night #9. Local presenters will show 20 PowerPoint slides scheduled to progress automatically every 20 seconds, bringing you the coolest 6-minute-40-second presentations you have ever seen. Topics range from art, travel, hobbies and more.

Also happening at the museum this week, the Little Cinema is screening the five 2014 Oscar-nominated animated short films. Show times are Friday through Monday at 7 p.m., and also at 1:30 on Monday. If a matinee is more your style, the Little Cinema will also present a special screening Saturday of the film "Move" in partnership with Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.

Beginning Friday, the Berkshire Fringe and Kickwheel Ensemble Theater will present a revised performance of "DARK: An End of the World Play with Music and an Exercise Bike.

In the aftermath of a cataclysmic event, "DARK" chronicles one family’s attempt to survive in a small cabin atop a lonely mountain. Stylized physical action, dark comedy and hauntingly beautiful songs unravel a story of desperation, resilience and hope.

The production runs Feb. 21 through March 2, with show times on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m., and Sundays at 2. Performances will be held at Mixed Company, 33 Rosseter St., Great Barrington. This Friday is pick-your-own-price night; tickets for other performances begin at $20.

On Saturday night, break the bonds of cabin fever and go out of this world with the space-themed NAMA Prom winter ball.

Pay a $10 early admission and enjoy a cocktail hour from 7 to 8:30 p.m., featuring live music, hors d’oeuvres and more. General admission for the dance party with DJ BFG is $5, launches at 8:30 and wraps up around 1:30 a.m.

Held at the Elks Lodge on Eagle Street in North Adams, the event features three floors of bars, a dance floor and lounge areas; an inflatable planetarium courtesy of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, a photo "booth" backdrop with props, cash bars, a late-night munchies menu and black-lighted, glow-in-the-dark decorations.

Also on Saturday night at Chameleons night club on East Street in Pittsfield, divas Harmony Chanel and Kandi Korn present "Lipstick & Magic: A Drag Show." Doors open at 9, and the show starts at 10 for patrons ages 21 and up. There will be a $5 cover to catch all the hilarity to ensue.

And, no bull, in case you haven’t heard, there’s a new mechanical bull that goes by the name "Inferno" that’s popped up on the Berkshire nightlife scene. This Saturday, it returns to Casey’s on Dalton Avenue in Pittsfield beginning at 9 p.m.
