June is in full swing, and that means one thing: It’s time for the annual NAMA Prom. "Moonshine Madness" is the theme of this summer kick-off event, which takes place Saturday night for party people ages 21 and up. Rebel Beat Sound System will keep things in swing all night long.
There’ll be a cocktail hour that kicks off at 7, featuring moonshine sno-cones, hors d’oeuvres, live music in the main floor bar room and line dancing instruction in the ballroom.
The party switches into full gear starting at 8:30. There will be a cash bar and fun decorations and props for photo ops.
Cover is $10, and semi-formal and theme dress is highly encouraged. Think bolo ties, gingham skirts, cowboy boots and an attitude that says, "I’m here for the party, y’all!"
