The Trustees of Reservations’ historic Naumkeag property will host tonight from 5 to 7, the Berkshire Young Professionals’ monthly networking event at its "Naumkeag at Night" event. Attendees can enjoy live music and panoramic views while touring the space and mingling. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The Brick House Pub in Housatonic will, from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday, host a fundraiser to benefit a local cancer patient.

There will be a silent auction of items donated from businesses in Great Barrington, as well as a 50/50 raffle. The jazz/funk/rock group Strange Changes will play from 9:30 to 11:30.

The Vermont Arts Exchange in North Bennington, Vt., has two shows happening this weekend, presented by the popular Billsville House Concerts group.

On Friday, Parsonfield (formerly Poor Old Shine) plays with Gold Town. PHOX plays with Upstate Rubdown on Saturday.

Got talent?

Denise Roller, the creator and director of "Clean Up Your Act: A Talent and Variety Show," is looking for talent of all kinds, including but not limited to: dancers, singers, actors, mimes, musicians, magicians, storytellers, and stand-up comics. Also needed is an energetic, charismatic master of ceremonies who is able to improvise if needed. The show will be held on Sept. 12 and 13.
