Today marks the beginning of the sixth annual Bella Terra Festival in nearby Stephentown, N.Y., featuring nearly 100 performers across multiple stages over the course of four days. The festival includes local acts from the Berkshires and Western Mass., to musicians and deejays from across the country and around the world.

Pittsfield’s free Third Thursday street festival returns tonight, celebrating the theme "Art + Industry."

There will be tons of kids and family activities ranging from art to robotics, The Berkshire Eagle Photo Booth, the Roaming Jazz Ambassadors and performances from 8 Foot River, Berkshire Bateria, Berkshire Music School Build a Band, Berkshire Rocks, Trio Candela, the Phil Grover Band, T-Bone Daddy, Ryan Meczywor, Zumba on Park Square, demos and performances from the Funkbox Dance Studio, and much, much more.

The 2014 Wing Fling Fundraiser will be causing a flap at Wahconah Park this Saturday.

Wings will be served from 6 to 8 p.m., with music by Whiskey City and mingling happening until 10. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the gate for this age 21 and up event. Proceeds will benefit Downtown Pittsfield Inc. and 10 percent will also go to the Pittsfield Family YMCA.

Also happening Saturday night is the 2014 finale of the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival season in Becket.

At 4 p.m., film historian Robert Osborne, the host of Turner Classic Movies, makes a special appearance in conjunction with the current exhibit, "Gotta Dance!," to discuss the golden age of Hollywood movie musicals. To conclude this season’s Inside/Out performance series, METdance, a contemporary jazz company based in Houston, Texas, takes to the Henry J. Leir stage at 6:15.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet will perform at 8 in the Ted Shawn Theatre and LeeSaar The Company will perform at 8:15 in the Doris Duke Theatre. There will be a giant after-party with two full cash bars, desserts provided by local restaurants and bakeries, a photo booth and dance party with DJ BFG.
