A digest of what's playing on stages in and around the Berkshires based upon reviews by Berkshire Eagle theater critic Jeffrey Borak. Capsules include publication date of the review, closing date of the production, and production running time.

H denotes a highly recommended critic's choice. GOD OF CARNAGE. One boy attacks another in their school playground and their respective parents try to repair the damage in a meeting that very quickly loses all pretense of maturity and civility. The stakes never seem as high as playwright Yasmina Reza would have us believe them to be and the four actors in this production strain, with little success, to deliver credibility both to their characters and the situation (5/9). Through May 27. 1:17.
