Thomas and Virginia Vahle Goggins of Pittsfield, MA and David and Janet Aitoro of Weston, CT are proud to announce the marriage of their children Elizabeth Ann Goggins and David Rogers Aitoro.
The ceremony was officiated by Rev Christopher J. Waitekus, at St. Ann's Church in Lenox, MA on Saturday July 25, 2015. Rev. Matthew O'Connor, formerly of St. Teresa Parish in Pittsfield, MA assisted.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore an ivory Tara Keely sleeveless tulle and organza dress with sweetheart neckline, illusion boatneck overlay, an open back, and three tiers of embroidered organza at the bottom of each tier. She carried a small hand tied bouquet in a garden style, of pale blue hydrangeas and mini green hydrangeas, with Patience garden roses, Feverfew, blue tweedia, Queen Anne's Lace, very pale green lisianthus, mint and geranium leaves. Flowers were designed by Carolyn Valenti.
Her sister Virginia as maid of honor attended Elizabeth. Her college friends, Lori Griffin, Emily George and Katie Grace were bridesmaids. Her attendants wore royal blue cocktail length sleeveless dupioni dress with large flat bow detail at open back and carried carry green hydrangeas with pale yellow Skyline roses, brighter yellow Babe spray roses, blue tweedia, Queen Anne's Lace, mint and garden greenery.
The groom's brother Alexander Aitoro was best man. The groomsmen were bride's brother Timothy Goggins and childhood friends, Stephen Papen and John Tower.
Reception followed at The Country Club of Pittsfield.
Mrs. Aitoro is a high school history teacher at Lincoln Park High School in Chicago, Illinois. Elizabeth is a graduate of Williams College class of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in history and classics. She graduated from Duke University in 2010 with a Master of Arts in Teaching.
Mr. Aitoro is a derivatives trader at Belvedere Trading, Chicago, Illinois. David is a graduate of Williams College class of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in physics and mathematics.
Elizabeth and David honeymooned in Barcelona, Spain and reside on West Schubert Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
