WESTFIELD, Mass. (AP) _ Western New England Bancorp (WNEB) on Tuesday reported net income of $9 million in its fourth quarter.

The Westfield, Massachusetts-based bank said it had earnings of 42 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $29.2 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $26.5 million, exceeding Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $25.9 million, or $1.18 per share. Revenue was reported as $92.6 million.
