SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Technical Community College next fall will offer a new degree in biomedical engineering technology, which addresses a demand for workers trained to repair, maintain and manufacture medical equipment.The two-year associate degree program is the only one of its kind in the region. It will prepare students for a variety of in-demand health care jobs.
